horseback-riding-in-bali

Our life felt like a movie when we went horseback riding around Bali!

I used to dread hopping on another tour bus, crammed between strangers, stuck in traffic, and missing out on Bali’s stunning landscapes. After trying quad biking, I discovered a much better way to explore this beautiful island: horseback riding!

The freedom of galloping along the beach or through lush rice fields was a game changer, making me fall in love with Bali all over again.

So, if you’re ready to trade your flip-flops for riding boots, keep reading. I’ve rounded up the top horseback riding spots in Bali. Let’s saddle up and explore this paradise!

The Bali Equestrian Centre (BEC) was established in 2002 by an Australian equestrian enthusiast. It’s a sprawling 2-hectare facility surrounded by lush landscapes, housing over 30 horses and ponies.

The way they care for the horses is beautiful, too – you can tell that the well-being of the animals is a top priority here. It’s no wonder they attract everyone from local riders to international competitors, even Olympians!

With three different arenas for jumping, dressage, and a pony ride track for the little ones, there’s something for everyone. I tried the sunset trail ride through these stunning rice paddies, and the golden light created this magical glow that I won’t forget.
