1. Raffles Bali

Address: Jl. Karang Mas Sejahtera No.1A, Jimbaran, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Contact Details: +623612015800
Raffles Bali blends luxury with rich cultural experiences. One of their most magical offerings is a Private Cave Dining experience. Imagine having an intimate meal in a natural cave, with the whole space reserved just for you.
The resort is all about wellness, too, which I love. They’ve curated these amazing Balinese cultural journeys that their Wellbeing Butlers can help you discover. You could dive into cooking classes or witness one of those breathtaking holy temple ceremonies.
Speaking of pampering, the Raffles Spa is an absolute highlight. It has gorgeous treatment suites called The Sanctuary, where you can enjoy signature spa treatments surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
And let’s not forget about the food! Dining at Raffles Bali is a journey on its own. The Rumari Restaurant serves up authentic Balinese dishes, and the views are nothing short of stunning.
Meanwhile, the Loloan Beach Bar & Grill offers hotel guests a perfect blend of casual and elegant vibes. It offers a unique dining experience called Rumari Unearthing, where guests can sample various Balinese flavors.
Each villa offers these breathtaking ocean views, which made me feel like I was in this exclusive haven. Don’t get me wrong—it’s peaceful there, but if you’re looking for vibrant nightlife, you might find yourself a bit out of luck compared to other parts of Bali.
One thing I noticed, highlighted in some reviews, is that the dining options could be limited, especially for those with specific dietary needs. A few guests mentioned having trouble finding suitable choices on the half-board menu.
It would be a great move for Raffles Bali to expand their menu varieties—maybe even customizable meal plans tailored to dietary restrictions. It would elevate guest satisfaction and show how committed they are to that personal touch.
Exemplary Hospitality and Luxurious Comfort
This was definitely one of the best stays we have ever had! The butler service is above and beyond, the rooms are super spacious, and the dining is delicious. Everyone is extremely kind and feels like family. Raffles Bali is a must visit!

Memorable and Heartwarming Hospitality
A very nice and secluded hotel. I enjoyed every single aspect that Raffles Bali has offered. When I was there, I joined the baby turtle release, it was the cutest thing ever. Thank you Raffles Bali for including me and the family as part of your sustainability program, my children love them. Thank you for the lovely memories 🙂

2. Further

Address: Jl. Pantai Pererenan No.84, Pererenan, Kec. Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80351, Indonesia
Contact Details: +6282147698770
Further Hotel is tucked away in a super chill spot in Pererenan, just a hop and a skip from the lively Canggu area. This was great because I could enjoy the peaceful vibes while having all the fun cafes, surf spots, and local culture just around the corner.
Pererenan Beach is only about 1.5 kilometers away, which makes it perfect for those morning walks along the shore. Catching a sunset there was magical, not to mention the gorgeous rice fields surrounding the hotel.
The hotel’s amenities were impressive. The rooms were spacious and minimalist, and I loved the open-air showers—they made showering feel like a little escape.
One of my favorite parts was the communal spaces. They encouraged mingling with other guests, which was a nice touch. Speaking of good vibes, Bar Vera on-site offers tasty light snacks and gourmet selections.
I noticed a small issue with the reviews regarding check-in delays during busy times. A few people mentioned waiting longer than expected to get into their rooms.
A more streamlined check-in process would make it easier for everyone. Offering an online pre-check-in option or having extra staff during peak times could help.
Impressed by Design and Helpful Staff
We had a wonderful stay and were truly impressed by the design and concept of the hotel. It offers a space where you can relax and unwind, even spending your time just chilling in the room. While there was some noise from nearby traffic and construction, it didn’t bother us too much. The hotel staff was very helpful and always quick to respond to our requests, which made the stay even more pleasant. The area around the hotel is growing, with many new shops and restaurants and almost no typical Bali-tourist shops.

Relaxing and Attentive Service
It was a very lovely stay! Loved the design and concept. Really a space where you could laze around and just chill in the room. Also love the playlist too. Can hear some noise from the traffic and nearby construction works but that was not a big issue for us. The hotel staff is very helpful and responsive to our requests. A note that there’s no lift in the hotel. Not much an issue for us but may need to take note for those who may need lift service.

3. The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua, Bali

Address: Kawasan Pariwisata, Jl. Nusa Dua No.2 Lot N, Benoa, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80363, Indonesia
Contact Details: +6262361771327
The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, Bali, has Lagoon Access Rooms. Imagine waking up and just walking right off your balcony into one of the resort’s stunning lagoon pools.
They have seven swimmable lagoons – can you believe it? They’re the first in the world, spanning over 5,000 square meters. There’s just so much space for swimming and lounging around.
And let’s not forget about the Lagoon Spa. The spa has indoor rooms and pavilions to connect with nature while unwinding. I can’t think of a better way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
When it comes to eating, The Laguna features six different restaurants and bars catering to all tastes. The Arwana Restaurant sits on the beach and specializes in fresh seafood with jaw-dropping ocean views – a meal you won’t forget.
Then there’s Banyubiru, which serves a fantastic mix of pan-Asian and Western dishes. If you, like me, love to unwind with a drink, check out the Sapphire Lagoon Bar for refreshing cocktails by the lagoon.
Several other guests told me the service was slow, especially at peak times in the restaurants and by the pool. Several reviews mentioned long waits for food and drinks, which can be a total drag.
They could increase staffing during busy hours or optimize training to speed things up. Plus, how nice would it be if they gave you an estimated wait time when you order? That could help set expectations.
Exceptional Service and Memorable Experiences
Excellent service by everyone working at the Laguna. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, though quite a distance from lobby. Top notch facilities and evening activities by the bar. Every evening was different and they were all interesting! Great experience overall, would recommend. Special thanks to Yudha at the hotel reception for being helpful and friendly.

4. Bvlgari Resort Bali

Address: Banjar Dinas Kangin Jalan Goa Lempeh Jalan Raya Uluwatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80364, Indonesia
Contact Details: +623618471000
Bvlgari Resort Bali is perched 150 meters above the sparkling Indian Ocean, offering views that will take your breath away. This place is all about luxury, but it has a unique twist: It blends traditional Balinese vibes with chic Italian flair.
Picture yourself in one of the 59 exclusive villas or even one of the five super luxurious mansions. Each has a private plunge pool and garden—your little hideaway where you can unwind and enjoy those unobstructed ocean views.
Regarding dining, Il Ristorante serves up some delightful contemporary Italian dishes, while Sangkar Restaurant brings traditional Indonesian flavors to your table. And let’s not forget about the cliff-edge infinity pool and the stylish lounge bar.
For anyone looking to indulge in some serious pampering, the spa treatments beautifully combine Asian and European techniques. The setting is stunning—imagine eight treatment rooms, all against the backdrop of the ocean.
Here’s a fun little detail: they even have a unique funicular system that whisks you down to a pristine private beach. This adds to luxury and exclusivity, making your time at Bvlgari Resort Bali feel like a dream.
Now, let’s talk about the price. It’s a bit on the higher side, but many guests feel it’s worth every penny. With luxurious accommodations, top-notch service, and exclusive perks, it’s hard to find that unique blend anywhere else.
I did hear a few complaints here and there, like how some guests wished management would offer room upgrades without them having to ask.
I’ve been there when the room views didn’t quite match expectations, and it would have been nice if they had proactively discussed upgrades during check-in. It would have added to the perfect experience.
Warm Welcomes and Prompt Arrangements
My fiancée and I visited BVLGARI resort on a chance as we rode past and decided to take a look and perhaps if we asked reception that we may view a room. All the security guards made us feel welcome and reception greeted us warmly and made arrangements for a tour of a villa and the facilities. The villa is a Balinese style and the view was amazing, it really was next level and we hope to stay one time here at BVLGARI
Thanks again

Luxurious and Serene Paradise Retreat
Once you passed through the security gantry, you are transported into another world. A paradise of greenery and floral covered pathways, smiling resort staff, quaint villas and the beautiful ocean view. The mansion we stayed in surpassed our expectations with huge bedrooms and bathrooms, a living room, dining room, bar counter and kitchen. The private pools were the best feature of the mansion. The resort’s restaurants provide great meals in a nice ambience. It was an incredible experience staying at the resort.

5. Potato Head Suites & Studios

Address: Jl. Petitenget No.51B, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia

But it doesn’t stop at the rooms. They have some fantastic amenities that enhance your stay. There are two pools to choose from: one provides a peaceful retreat, while the other at the beach club is perfect for soaking up the lively atmosphere.
They regularly host art galleries and cultural events featuring local artists, a beautiful way to connect guests with Balinese culture. Their zero-waste practices and the use of recycled materials show that they care about sustainability.
I kept hearing in reviews about the noise from nearby beach clubs. If you crave peace, that could be an issue.
They could consider soundproofing the rooms or having quiet hours during late-night parties. That would help everyone enjoy their stay more.
Warm and Welcoming Service
Went on a family vacation here and we all loved it! Didn’t leave the poolside for 3 days. Fun for adults and kids. The sunsets are so beautiful The rooms are big and spacious. We were given free reusable water bottles upon arrival. The room services menu is Delicious. The staff is so friendly and helpful – they made the whole experience so lovely and relaxing.
