Planning a summer getaway to Bali with my friends felt like a dream come true. As first-timers, we knew we needed expert guidance to navigate the island’s vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and hidden gems.
That’s when we decided to reach out to travel agencies that could help us craft the perfect itinerary. In this article, I’m excited to share the top travel agencies that transformed our Bali trip from overwhelming to amazing!
If you’re ready to discover how these experts can elevate your own Bali adventure, keep reading for my personal recommendations and insights.
How much do travel agencies charge in Bali?
Travel agencies in Bali charge between IDR 110,000 and IDR 600,000 for various tour packages. Local tours to popular areas like Ubud or Tanah Lot can range from IDR 350,000 to IDR 450,000 per person for a full day.
Additionally, budget travelers can find basic tours starting around IDR 150,000, while more comprehensive experiences may cost upwards of IDR 1,000,000.
1. Intrepid Travel

Operating Hours: 9 AM–6 PM
Intrepid Travel has earned a solid reputation worldwide, especially for its commitment to responsible tourism. The guides were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing the island’s rich culture and history.
If you’re into active, family-friendly adventures, Intrepid Travel offers a program called Hike, Bike, and Raft. One day, you’ll hike through lush landscapes, the next, you’ll cycle along scenic routes and raft down rivers.
I love that Intrepid keeps its group sizes small. It’s like traveling with friends rather than a big crowd. You can have deeper conversations and connections with local guides and engage with the communities you visit.
They also seriously care about tourism’s impact. Their itineraries often include visits to local craftsmen and opportunities to participate in village activities, which directly support the community.
Intrepid is all about giving back. With initiatives like donations to coral restoration projects through the Intrepid Foundation, they’re not just exploring Bali—they’re helping to preserve its beauty for future generations.
When it comes to value for money, Intrepid’s pricing is pretty competitive, especially considering what you get. Their all-inclusive packages cover accommodations, meals, and activities, making budgeting much easier.
That said, I did have a couple of nights where the accommodations fell short of what I expected for the price. I think Intrepid could benefit from focusing more on the places it partners with.

2. One Life Adventures

Address: Jl. Persada No.11, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80117, Indonesia
Operating Hours: 9 AM–5 PM
One thing I loved about One Life Adventures was its range of services. They offer many tour packages, so whether you’re into cultural experiences, nature outings, or thrill-seeking adventure sports, they’ve got you covered.
I appreciated their flexibility. I could mix optional activities with a structured itinerary, making the whole trip feel right for me. There’s something for everyone, which adds to the joy of exploring.
They focus on creating ethical travel experiences that benefit local communities and the environment. I appreciate this because it allows me to travel while practicing sustainable tourism.
What I love most is their knack for off-the-beaten-track itineraries. They know all the hidden gems that often get overlooked. I remember wandering through quaint little villages and immersing myself in the local culture.
And let me tell you about their guides—they’re just incredible. These folks are award-winning for a reason. It’s like sitting around a campfire, listening to an old friend share fascinating tales about the history and culture of the places we visit.
They also have a “One Life Tribe” loyalty program, where returning travelers receive discounts and perks. The pricing for their packages is surprisingly competitive, especially considering the high quality of the accommodations and activities they provide.
I did notice a few reviews mentioning some hiccups with communication about itinerary changes. Some fellow travelers felt frustrated when they weren’t updated quickly about changes due to weather or other factors.
It might be helpful for One Life Adventures to tighten up its communication game—maybe through text messages or an app to keep everyone in the loop about changes.
Highly Professional and Offers Unique Bali Experiences

Knowledgeable and Fun Tour Guide
I went to Japan last October on the 10 day tour. DALE was our tour guide and I can honestly say he is what made the tour/trip so much fun. He offered the perfect balance of guidance while still leaving room for us to explore and experience Japan the way we wanted. He’s super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the different places we visited. I would 100% recommend this trip, especially if Dale is your tour guide. Great experience, great guide!

3. Bali Bucket List Tours

Address: Jalan Kajen 7, Ubud, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80571, Indonesia
Contact Details: +6281337444693
Let me tell you about this incredible 10-day tour I took with Bali Bucket List Tours. If you’re aged 21-35 and looking for a mix of adventure and culture, this is the way to go. Imagine starting your day hiking up Mount Batur to catch the sunrise—it’s breathtaking.
After that, we snorkeled with manta rays, which was like swimming in a dream. Then, there was a cooking class in Ubud, where we learned to make some traditional Balinese dishes.
The guides were knowledgeable and shared so many insights about Bali’s culture and history that it deepened the experience. Plus, the groups were small—about 1 to 10 people—which created a friendly vibe.
And if you’re into yoga or surfing, they’ve got you covered, too. I mean, picture this: a specialized retreat where you can chill out with yoga sessions and then jump into the ocean for surfing lessons on Nusa Lembongan.
I appreciated how all-inclusive their packages were—accommodations, meals, and transportation were all included. The variety of activities included was pretty impressive, and there were no surprise fees.
I heard a few grumbles in reviews about the itineraries feeling rushed, especially on those action-packed days with multiple stops. I get that. My suggestion? It might be nice if they could incorporate a bit more downtime.
Wonderful Trip with an Amazing Guide
But thank you to our guide Rio who was absolutely amazing. Overall experience was brilliant. Personally, lots of other activities I’d have preferred over the Nusa Penida day as it was a lot of travelling for a quick picture at a viewing point. However, overall a really wonderful trip.

Unforgettable Balinese Adventure with a Fantastic Guide
What an amazing 10 days!! We really did get to tick bucket list things off… we was lucky to see turtles, manta’s, dolphins and the beautiful coral beds Bali has to offer with its many species of fish! Met a lovely group of people and not to mention our tour guide Rio, who made us feel welcome from day one and kept high spirits throughout. Rio really made this trip extra special in every way possible, from translator to photographer. A friend for life. Each day had a different variety for all of the group, however we all agreed the last day needs a different activity! None the less, a highly recommended experience.

4. INTRO Travel

Address: 124 City Rd, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Contact Details: +443308189555
Operating Hours: 9 AM–5 PM
I really appreciated that INTRO Travel’s services are tailored specifically for younger adventurers who want a mix of excitement and social experiences. One day, we were snorkeling with turtles, and the next, we were visiting local families.
One thing that truly stood out to me was how well they provided authentic experiences that captured the essence of Bali. The guides were knowledgeable about local history and had strong ties to the community, which made our cultural visits genuine.
I love their commitment to sustainable practices. Every time someone books a trip, they plant trees to offset carbon emissions. So, it’s not just about having an amazing adventure; it’s also about giving back to our planet in a way that matters.
Something that stands out to me is that even after you return home, INTRO Travel is available 24/7 to help you with any onward travel arrangements or questions.
Now, I won’t sugarcoat everything. When it comes to value for money, INTRO Travel is a bit on the pricier side compared to some other agencies. I hesitated initially about the cost, but honestly, the quality of service made it worth it.
And here’s the scoop: I noticed a common theme in some reviews: time management during the tours. A few travelers felt they spent too much time stuck in transit and not enough time soaking up all the amazing attractions.
It might be helpful if INTRO Travel had a more flexible itinerary. That way, they could adapt it based on the group’s interests or even traffic conditions.
Stress-Free and Personalized Travel Experience

5. Wanderlands Travel

Address: 14/22 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia
Contact Details: +61285416557
Operating Hours: 10 AM–5 PM
Let me tell you about my experience with Wanderlands Travel. When I landed and was picked up at the airport, it felt like everything was in the right hands. Their organization impressed me.
What amazed me was the variety of services they offered. Whether you were up for an adventurous day of snorkeling or an exhilarating ATV ride or wanted to roam through cultural sites and relax, the itinerary included everything.
One of the standout aspects was your guide’s local knowledge. They knew all the hidden gems and spots that weren’t crawling with tourists. We even had some chances to connect with local communities in meaningful ways.
Let me tell you about their payment options—they’re super flexible! I loved that I could book my trip without stressing too much about the budget. They offer smaller, interest-free installments, which is a lifesaver for young travelers like us.
Once the adventure ended, they didn’t just leave us hanging. They offered local insights to ensure a smooth transition to our next leg of the journey, whether that meant exploring more of Indonesia or heading somewhere new.
Compared to other agencies, Wanderlands Travel was reasonable. Their all-inclusive packages cover accommodations, meals, transportation, and activities—making budgeting a breeze.
That said, I did see some reviews where travelers mentioned having issues with communication about itinerary changes or pick-up times. I get that—it can be frustrating if things change and you’re not informed.
Wanderlands Travel could implement a better system for keeping everyone updated, such as a dedicated app or timely emails. A little proactive touch could go a long way in boosting satisfaction.
